Photographer's Note
Mysore palace. Evening sunlight reflecting from one side of the palace making it glow, and the snap is taken from behind the bunch of flowers so that it appears 'resting on nest'.

Like your point of view. The castle has been well depicted with clear and colourful details.
Very good light on the left facade of the castle.
Perhaps a little less of the vegetation would have made the composition more compact.
Since you have allowed for a 'Workshop' on this, I have tried to conver what I have stated in my critique.
Thanks for sharing this photograph.

Hello Shadan...
I will not say, "Everything I know about India, I learned from watching the movie Lagaan," but it remains a large part of my understanding of your large and beautiful country. This castle reminded me so much of the palace in that movie that I tried to discover (on the internet) whether it had in fact been used in the movie. I was unable to determine, but I did find this remarkable little blog about a cricket match much like the one in the film: http://vkyatsa.blogspot.com/2009/12/real-lagaanof-pride-and-honour.html
I like your foto of this spectacular edifice. I think the flowers in the foreground could be more prominent. May I try a WS for you?
Best regards,

Hi Shadan,
lovely light but very difficult I think more sunlight would made the structure to appear more impressive. I like very much the uniique architecture style, it looks so exotic for me, so different from what I am used to. If you live around I would definitely try to revisit this spectacular palace at different light conditions,
