Photographer's Note
A meeting walking along Dwarka beach.
Dwarka is one of my favourite destination in India.
Dwarka is a city and a municipality of Jamnagar district in the Gujarat state in India. Dwarka (Dvaraka in Sanskrit - used in this article when referring to the city in a historical context), also known as Dwarawati in Sanskrit literature is rated as one of the seven most ancient cities in the country. The legendary city of Dvaraka was the dwelling place of Lord Krishna.

Hello, Beautiful portrait. Great light management and perfect DOF with the blurred bg. His eyes are so expressive and you have captured the sense of a different culture and world most wonderfully.

Hello Luca - A captivating portrait. I love the close crop on the man's face and the way you have used the horizontal frame with the large expanse of negative space; the misty soft blur gives good balance to the picture. Detailing in the face is good and the eyes really connect with the viewer. Super! Warm regards rosemary

Hi Lucas,
Very nice portrait with the eye catching red. Shallow DOF . Absolute clarity of the face and direct eye contact.
Well taken,

Ciao Luca
Excellent portrait! Pity I haven't made it Dwarka so far...maybe soon!
I think this guy is a Rabari...going by the red turban, a hint of his white dress & the golden earrings. Rabaris do wear white turbans, but some of them wera red as well!
A fine framing & crop
Best Regards
Angshu

Hi Luca
A splendid portrait in a natural and soft light, well framed with the blurred background. The white dots in his eyes give life to this portrait.

Ciao Luca,
Complimenti e grazie!
Tanti saluti e buna giornata,
Ourania

Hi Luca!
The overexposed background works well here so we can concentrate on this interesting face.
You placed him perfect in the frame.
I`m planing my 5th Burma travel before it`s gettin too busy and expensive after the embargo is relaxed.
I`ll arrive in Yangon on christmas.
Best regards,Leo

I feel that I have met him before Luca.:) Beautiful portrait, well composed and with a good choice of DOF so that we see the outlines in the background.

You have a stunning gallery of photos. I particularly like the DOF in this one and the sharp focus of the eyes, and the cropping that places the man on one side of the photo. It's all very captivating. Nicely done!
