Photographer's Note

Father & son having a day out washing and bathing on a calm morning at Laat ghat, lake Pichola in Udaipur. This curious kid climbed up the stairs soonest when he spotted my camera and wanted to be closest to the
lens wanting his pics taken. There is nothing like the innocent play of children to warm the heart - a universal subject that I guess everyone with a camera has experienced. Interesting to note that wherever you find water you are bound to find people washing clothes or themselves in it, etc.. etc.. In fact everyday seems like 'water festival' here. The thick yellow-greenish mass of algae floating in some areas is common on the waterways.

With my camera, I like to capture all sides of life on my photo walkabout, that which is generally considered to be a thing of great beauty imo. It's on the fly point and shoot, without composing or looking at the
viewfinder, lens manually pre-focused and aperture preset at medium opening. I know that it's not technically perfect picture, but this makes such great photographic subject that I really love documenting it.

Setting: 16 mm, 1/125 sec, F3.5, ISO Raw 200, 0816 hrs & polarised

Hi Abmdsudi,in fact the beauty of the shot is the speed to seize the moment regardless of the perfect shot and the quality, the elements, master and son, are perfectly present in the composition and show in the best way the moment in which the child has approached intrigued you, very original photo as always.
