Pushkar inhabitants live in harmony with the holy animals like the cows and the grey langurs (Semnopithecus entellus) roaming free here on a platform dominating the lake and the ghats. They are sometimes feeded by the believers coming to pray.

Helo Miguel,
It's an amazing photo of so many monkeys living so close to humans, and in such numbers. I have met lots of monkeys all over India but I have never felt totally safe among them. If they are used to be fed by people than can come very close and get quite aggressive. I felt a lot safer among the lazy cows. Most of the time I also felt very safe among the humans. It's a very well snapped photo with superb colours and lots of typical details that evoke memories.

An interesting nd exceptional photo. Wow a great catch. I went to some caves off shore from Mumbai. It was littered with monkeys. It felt odd not being in a zoo or something that separated us - some how here they do coexist. Great photo!

Hello Miguel,
A good photo, very well photographed and composed with the men sitting at left opposite from the large cow. The many monkeys are nicely scattered around the centre, sitting just about everywhere. Well done.

A very large group of monkeys can be found here.
Some of them look a little suspicious to the cow.
Perhaps they are afraid that the cow will take too much food.

Verdaderamente es una imagen magnífica de coexistencia, personas, monos y la vaca, yo desde luego no podria estar cerca de los monos, pues es un animal al cual detesto, la vaca me resulta simpatica.
Colorido, nitidez y luminosidad están captadas eficazmente.

curiously I walked a lot around the gaths and the lake and I never saw a monkey there, only cows. nice mix of the animals and the men. nice details.
