Chambal Fishing, a photo from Rajasthan, West

Photographer's Note

Fishing at River Chambal. I got several shots of this sunset but this shot was most apealing... just for shadows and golden reflection and no direct Sun. The long shadow (if it is visible at your monitor) is caused by the long Electricity Tower at opposite.

The dim sunlight coming from upwards center is there to judge the right location of the Sun while taking photo.

Superb capture, Rakesh! Nice silhouette of the kids fishing, against the reflection of the sun setting in water. I agree with Lale about the cropping of the top portion.

Very nice and sharp silhouettes on this river of gold. I see that they are fishing without a rod, just using lines, a nice kind of fishing. I also like the position of the boys on the framing, giving all the space to fishing in the gold.

when I came on your gallery ,I saw this little photo and wanted to see it bigger!The orange colour of the water is so amazing,it's incredible!It's nice to have given a big place to this wonderful water,and placed the silhouettes in the corner,and put a small band of black sky on the top of the photo!Very well done,it's superb!
