Photographer's Note
Jodhpur is known as the " Blue City "of Rajasthan: True, because when looking at the old streets surrounding the great Merengarh fort, an observer can see an agglomeration of blue houses down the hill. But the problem is that there are not whole streets of these, blue painted houses are scattered here and there. This is why after trying to locate them from the fort I decided to go down and get closer. I found a typical neighbourhood, smelly, steep and narrow alleys ,carved inside a labyrinth , open sewers running down on all sides, lots of cows ,lots of barking stray dogs, but still the area has a lot of Indian charm and is really colorful in places. . So when I discovered this cozy corner , I decided to wait until someone whould show up. My camera was placed on a tripod, I probably waited over 10 minutes until this woman came up.

Nice to see a new post from you. Vibrant colour with superb sharpness & wonderful warm cold colour contrasts between the blue & red. The woman animates the scene. Tfs!

Hi Izzet
You found a lovely place, full of vivid colours and imagines your shot by waiting for a person to come from the right (to get her face). Your patience was rewarded by this typical indian lady.
Well organized and realised
Cheers

Bonsoir Izzet,

Hallo Izzet,
Nice to see a posting from you. Waiting for the woman to show up in the posting was recompesated with a colorful contrast with the blue surroundings. The slow shutterspeed allowed to introduce a sense of movement into the picture. Great work

Hello Izzet!
This is a full of colours and resolution image, exhibiting daily life in Jodhpur but let me say that I would prefer the lady was not blurred.
I don't know if you are pleased with the result or if that was your terminus. The maximum aperture for this lens is 2.8 and you had the means to freeze the movement. One more solution was to increase ISO without losing detail and keeping the f/8 for nice DOF.
May be I am wrong, just telling my opinion!
Remarkable equipment, honestly!
Friendly,
Athanasios.

Hi Izzet
Such a very special blue atmosphere in those streets. Ineresting to see your series. The woman a bit unsharp is no problem for the picture.

Merhaba Izzet,
Brilliant photo! Really looks like something from Steve McCurry's galleries... I like the graphic color and shapes very much. The slight blur on the subject also brings dynamism to the shot!
Great job,
