Photographer's Note
This is Basilica of Bom Jesus (also St. Francis Xavier's Church) in Goa, India...One of the oldest churches in India, it was constructed in 1605 and is famous for the well preserved body of St. Francis Xavier still present inside the church and is available for public viewing on some special occasions...

Hi Manisha
It's an interesting building and I like the crowd outside - they provide a sense of scale and add colour. The pastels in the sky are also very nice.
Best wishes
Kasia

Hello Manisha,
This church is lovely, and it's always interesting for me to see such old buildings; the ones here in NYC are usually from the 1800's on. I like the bits of color provided by the people's clothes, too. To me the photo seemed a little dark. I made a WS with some minor adjustments. Take care!

Hello Manisha,
I heard a lot of the churches and the Portuguese colonial architecture in Goa but I've never been in that state.
Beautiful front facade. The many palm trees typical of Goa can be found at the back of the basilica.
The people on the square give us a good idea of the size of the entrance gates.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Manisha
The old Portuguese style of architecture is evident here. Reminds me of the the cathedral in Macau, which is now in ruins with only the magnificent facade preserved. Apparently the candles set the curtains alight when they were blown over during a severe typhoon. The people add scale. Tfs!
