Photographer's Note
With a nod as a wink of understanding, he slowed down his lorry to give me a clear shot of these bathing women somewhat 300 meters down in one of the old quarry pits used to drain the water from the other granite pits. You could say that a Tamil is gallant enough to respect the intimacy of these bathing women, although they enjoy too to watch them discretely from a distance, passing here :) !
Most of these women are working here in this quarry pits of the Elephant Rock, often together with their husband.
PS
up to 45°C in those pits, for less even tempting to jump in to the water !

Dear Henk,
This shot marks a great touch !!
Bathing , working women .....
Not only Tamil culture, but through out India, there the men doesn't spy these bathing women... You can read in puranas about LORD KRISHNA... who used to see these shows secrely and enjoy, and he even took away all the womens clothes :) Doesn't that make you laugh at this culture?
But, silently we admire those and even make them GODS...
That's India...
I love my land, my people...
So this shot gives me a dear feel...
All the best, dear MAN, for this shot.
