Photographer's Note

Just make sure that you wear the same color sari as your auto-rickshaw, it makes you less visible !

Note all the religious signs on the Bajaj-cab,
in green letters 'Ohm Muruga',
the spot between the two eyes,
the fish.

This year the fashionable poongal color for a sari was yellow !
The typical horn with the green caoutchouc blower, I use at home now ...:)).

No, this is not a publicity spot for 'Cab 2005'.

Nice auto-ritshaw too, I like the many signs on it and specially the eyes to help it find its way, superb vivid and clear colors as often on your photos (did you guess I'm a bit jealous ;-)) ), I just regret the cut foreground wheel.

Ha ha fantastic a taxi with his eyes, and a lady dressed in the same color wearing glasses!
And the pic is ... tooo well composed! The strip in the taxi and in the sari are too much, Henk! I am joking, of course! Great colors, all perfect... so sharp and shining!

Hoi Henk,
Wat zegt men soms, de kleren maken de man, maar hier passen de kleren bij het vervoer middel, de kleuren passen goed, de scherpte mooi, maar misschien had ik twee centimeter boven gecropt om dit kleine deel te vermijden, of ben ik weer te kritisch Henk!

I really had a good laugh looking at your photo and reading your note! ;o)
The colours on this image are so vivid and considering the ISO 1600 there's hardly any noise. I like the not too tight framing that allows us to see the environnement in the background.

Yes a Ritshaw...i remember watching a movie show over India and Bangladesh, over those funny local taxis: the Ritshaws..

The colours are back in vogue, flambouyant as usual..
The Auto-Rickshaws or (Cockroaches" - Like to call) can be every where & at any time (ofcourse, you need to pay more for that!)... I am happy to see tamil film like colour & shot... :)
