Photographer's Note

This is one of the famous sculptures in the Dharasuram temple built by the Cholas. The temple is not very famous and big as the Brahadishwarar temple in Tanjore (also built by the Cholas), but is rich with Sculptures.

This is one among the UNESCO Heritage centres in India and is well maintained by the Archialogical department. But the sad thing is the temple under some repair work so I couldn't enjoy it more.

Dharasuram has indeed a marvellous Temple, not that known, fine to spot one of the many fine carved details to be found here Mohan, a well exposed shot with natural coloring.
