Photographer's Note
This photo is taken during my journey to Lachen from Gangtok. After 3 hours of car journey we decided to take a small break. And then, when we get down from the car, we discovered this beautiful place where blue river Teesta is playing with green nature.
The River Teesta, said to be the lifeline of the Indian state of Sikkim, flows for almost the entire length of the state, carving out verdant Himalayan temperate and tropical river valleys. The emerald coloured river then forms the border between Sikkim and West Bengal before joining the Brahmaputra as a tributary in Bangladesh.

Vertical orientation is fine, but the vista is a bit narrow in the foreground, Soumyajit. A wider foreground with the river a bit off centre would relate the subject with its surroundings more effectively, IMHO.
Also, with your camera settings, you have bargained for some over-exposure on the river and on the distant sky.
Nevertheless, it shows the tumultous Teesta pretty attractively.
Thanks.
