Photographer's Note

At the southern slope of Khasi Hills in Meghalaya, India, Shella is a branch of Umiam river.
On the bank of the river, about 60 km from Cherrapunjee, this small village is also called Shella.
Shella is surrounded by orchards of orange, pineapple, jack fruit and areca nut.
No tourists, no chaos. The place is very peaceful and exquisitely beautiful.

a really nice the river scape view with the calmness and the tranquility of the place to are captured and resented superb.

this image summons up such a feeling of peace and your note reinforces that so well. It is an image of a place so exotic it sends to exude a sense of magic and even the thought of pineapples growing, wow.

una bella visione del nord dai caratteristici caratteri alpini: il verde abbraccia le rive del fiume e risale lungo la gola, il greto del torrente ricorda la preesenza della corrente sicuramente impetuosa nella stagione delle piogge anche se qui tutto appare tranquillo e la quiete del luogo invita alla meditazione.
Una bella cattura.
