Two Gods and a Goddess.
The Sun, Lord Shiva and Ganga…

In this holy atmosphere, as an anti-climax, there is a bridge… Canal Centenary Bridge, a suspension bridge on National Highway 58 (Delhi-Haridwar-Mana).
The 30.5 metre tall statue is believed to be the 4th. tallest idol of Lord Shiva.

Hello Alekhya,
A lovely sunrise photo Alekhya. Excellent composition, there are so many things to enjoy and admire in this photo. I have some photos of this Shiva statue, but nothing as good and atmospheric as your photo. I love the warm golden lights all over the frame. The background and the foreground is equally attractive in this image.

What a lovely image Alekhya, you have really caught this one well. The setting sun illuminates the whole scene with beautiful warm colours and make the scene so beautiful and unique. The bridge creates depth in the shot with the orange of the sky to make it so dreamily. The light even highlights the tops of the trucks as they pass over. The bird in flight and the placement of the Shiva's statue are excellent aspects to this fine image. Well done.

Hello Alekhya,
A splendid sunset picture with warm orange tones in the sky and a nice long reflected sun in the water.
I like the silhouettes of the Shiva statue and the modern bridge on which we see a bus whose windows reflect the orange light very strongly.
The hazy outlines of the mountains make a beautiful backdrop.

A great sunrise with lots of atmosphere. You have captured delicate golden light very well. The dark silhouettes of the statue, bridge and bird in flight provide a wonderful contrast to the sparkling water and hazy mountain range floating in the distance. Altogether a very beautiful image.

This is a beautiful river view with warm and rich sunset colors. The statue seems to be watching over this new contraption that civilization has added to the view. There seems to be another structure beyond the bridge, what might that be?

The morning glowing light and vibrant colours, the silhouetted statue and the bridge are nicely fit making this a good composition with excellent impact. The water sheen has further enhanced the effect tremendously and exposure is manageable although imho, the hot spot is a bit distracting. Nonetheless it's a fine effort, Well done.

Hello Alekhya - A good composition here with super small details to add to the main points of interest. I think your light management is exceptionally good as you convey the mood of the morning sunrise really well. The scene is essentially serene but as I look deeper into the shot, I see people and vehicles hurrying on their way to work! Very nice indeed. Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Alekhya
this is stunning. The silhouette of the statute of Shiva has such details and looks glorious under this light and color. I love that the statute has its island in the scene too creating a sense of isolation. To contest that though the bridge, which itself it's a beautiful silhouette too, seems also to be a symbolic connection between the world of man and the world of gods. A very powerful and beautiful shot of this wonderful place.
