Photographer's Note

This is a shot of River Beas which originates in Himalayas, flows through Manali (himachal Pradesh) and reaches Punjab in India.... The river water is generally ice cold and the flow is too strong ....though there are some riverside points where one can sit and enjoy the river water in Manali.

Hello Manisha,

This is a fine photograph, clearly revealing the speed and the turbulence of the fast-flowing river.
I'm glad you chose to use a fast shutter speed, I prefer to see the implied movement, where the water is cascading over the submerged stones.

Good evening Manisha (or should I approach you as Jain?), thanks for first critique on your side.
Saw several photos on your gallery, chosen this one because the motion of the pounding water against the rocks, shows well the mighty powers of nature. Adorable.
It doe's look as ice-cold, can only imagine the flow...
