Photographer's Note

The Sikh festival started with bagpipers, stick fighters, women sweeping the path for dignitaries of the temple to walk upon, and a palaquin with the holy book. They marched from the temple to the festival tent. Inside the crowd received tea, heard religious music, prayed and had a meal. Sikhs respect other religions, and vow to help the poor and needy.
