Life of an Woman-Labour, a photo from West Bengal, East

Photographer's Note

She (the woman in the back-ground) works in a brick-field as a labour. She is supposed to leave for her work in the early morning after giving break fast (plain boild rice!) to her childrens sitting in front. The eldest daugther (sitting at the extreme right) will accompany her as she too works as a child-labour in the very same brick-field.

Hello Arjun! We in the west have no idea what poverty really is. Good colour, DOF is very good considering the number of subjects, and I find the littlest boy very sweet looking. I hope this woman's life becomes easier some day. Thanks for sharing! Linda

Hello arjun. An interesting picture of the real life on the village the mother supplies its children and works also in a brick work. The photo is well realized. Unfortunately the girl is right in the picture cut off something. The picture is very informative and pleases me very well. Many greetings, Wolfgang.

I've chosen this image to critique, though you have other fine pictures.
The subject is compelling and very revealing. I feel priviledged to look on such a scene
I would possibly have cropped it on the left up to the child's bowl to compensate for the severe crop on the right.

This picture is really what TE is all about (I think). This shows the real life and suffering of people in that part of the world. It really opens our eyes to how priveledged and blessed most of us are, and yet we still want more despite already having enough. I hope this family manages and strives in this unforgiving world.

sad situation here that endorses the "pain" of poverty so clearly- a mad world!
the foto however, is well lit and the details are vividly seen.
suprb soft pastel colors as well.
