'Patti' seems to be in a pensive mood... Reminds me of my 'patti' :( I don't know Tamil, but I do understand that 'patti' means 'grandma'. This is a very pleasing picture, Anand... both aesthetically and emotionally.

I like this candid portrait a lot, especially how the colours of the walls seem to mirror tones of her sari. the soft diffused light works well to bring out all the details on the texture of her skin and folds of her clothes. nice, very nice.
one thing you chould correct is a slight tilt to the right, it's somewhat distracting.
