Bichitrapur is a new found and developing tourist destination near Talsari in Orissa.
Since not many people know about this stretch of the mangrove beach,it is quite deserted and serene and one can enjoy the beauty of the nature to its fullest. During low tides the water recedes almost a kilometer away and the ocean gives way to the mangrove trees scattered abundantly throughout the beach,while the high tides makes one witness the opposite. The sea water comes in and covers up most of the land mass including the tress.
