Photographer's Note
Akhand Dhaam Ashram is a Temple and Ashram at Indore.
There are around one hundred Sadhus living here. Most of them are from different parts of the country. Their daily life is full of dedication towards god. They generally discuss about Myth and God. I found all of them as very soft spoken and very kind. They earn nothing as financially but Temple Management and some great social worker helps here to manage for their food and daily requirements. They also provide medical facilities to these Sadhus. When I reached here, an Eye Camp was organized to check their eyesight and to distribute free specs to them. A nice place where you can find very different faces of Sadhus.
This image was captured just before Sunset. The Sadhu was sitting at a location where evening Sunlight was helping him reading book while making surroundings as dark background. Interestingly, he is around 90 years old but as you see, he is very active.

Hi Rakesh,
Congratulations for your 2th anniversary and your 100th post. I hope I can congratulate you in two years again and on your 200th post. :-)
I don't give so much value to originality, but I find this one a bit unusual. Take this as a compliment. In many situations all that darkness that even hides part of its hair would be a flaw, but here it is one of the charms of the image. His expression and pose is very picturesque and it looks to me like you achieved capturing all his material possessions, achieving a great photo that is full of humanity.
Regards, José.

V. interesting theme, but most importantly, great light on this one - spot of light defines a frame in itself and adds to the mystique. Very much like it!

You started playing with light wonderfully. I think you have mastered the art of using the light. Saadu's focus is elsewhere and you took care to not to overburn the frame with any lights and colors are quite vibrant. Ofcourse, sharpness is awesome as well..
