Photographer's Note

A rickshaw driver taking a much needed break and deserved that time for a puff. A pipe dreamer who appeared so relaxed as if he's in a world of his own to the way he blew out that smoke. It was a quick grab, capturing a glimpse into a local life when I spotted this photo opportunity.

What an enormous contraption for smoking such a small cigarette. I wonder what the benefit is, he certainly seems to be savouring it. An interesting and well framed portrait. Excellent colours and sharpness.

Il est énorme ce porte cigarette. J'ai pris la même photo avec une vieille dame en Thailande et je me demande bien pourquoi ils ne mettent pas la cigarette directement à la bouche.

I'm not so sure if i'd want to go for a ride with this guy driving hahahaha, maybe that's a drug he's smoking, not just a 'smoke' if you know what i mean :) But man, what a great looking photo of this man and of his culture. Great to see the smoke and the long bamboo thing he's using. wonderful!!! cheers

A very good portrait of this man taking a break with this large pipe and a small cigarette. Perfect lighting and sharpness. He stands out so well from the blurry and greenish background. Also the smoke was captured so well. Great work.

At first sight in the thumbnail I thought it was a kind of musical instrument, but I got even more curious after seeing the photo better, I didn't quite understand what it is for. But it's a beautiful portrait of this man on his rest time, with perfect light and sharpness, and a very nice shallow depth of field! Excellent job!

Just clicking around got me meeting this superb fellow. What a wonderful portrait, Abmdsudi. Bizarre combination of modern cigarette and old time smoking pipe. I don't think it's meant to be used with that kind of ciggie:)
