Lijiang

Photographer's Note

China is a very rich country in different ethnies and many of them still wear there traditional costume in their daily life. During the National Holiday week in October, Naxi women from around Lijiang come into town to celebrate. As a part of the celebration they gather in the main square of the old town to sing and dance. This event is a great opportunity to take excellent shots and we can see several in TE.
These three women were enjoying themselves during the dance. I really like the red cap on the one in the left: it’s not traditional…

Lijiang is maybe the most beautiful town in China. It is included in the Unesco World heritage list, and unlike most Chinese towns the traditional architecture can still be enjoyed here.

Also the caps on other women aren't traditional, I think. Those are the caps from the maoist era and not from before...I could be wrong.

But very nice photo, a bit noisy and too bright, although great idea!

Your image is good, but gaby is right, overexposed, that is the most difficult to change with PS.
I am not a good user of it, but I tried something you can see in WS.

This is a good picture about people and day life. i like the pxpresion of eachone and of corse the woman with the hat red. They looks happy. I like the frame too.

quase podemos ouvir o som das mulheres a falar. a luz estava forte, mas não prejudicou a imagem das mulheres da direita como fez com aquela á esquerda. muito bonita a foto, gosto do gestual natural das modelos
