SUN & MOON AT NIGHT, a photo from Guangxi, South

Photographer's Note

It was my last night in People's Republic of China and I visited an old moat transformed in lake were two ancient pagodas were rebuilt. They are named Moon and Sun because the colors.
There is a glass tunnel under the waters between them. The golden pagoda is covered with copper.

Era minha última noite na China continental e fui ver de perto um velho fosso transformado em lago, onde ergueram dois pagodes, cópias de outros muito antigos que existiam ali. Lhes deram o nome de Sol e Lua, devido as cores que tem.
Há um túnel de vidro entre os dois, debaixo da água, o pagode dourado é recoberto com cobre.

Jorge, wonderful night photo captured in Gullin. The light is perfectly managed. The two tall pagodas are illuminated, they make the town more attractive. Their lights create halos on the lake water. Fine colors, good image quality, regards.

Hello Jorge,
I am more enthusiastic at this kind of illuminations in the city, rather than inside a cave. The effect of this coloured light in the darkness of the night is quite stunning, and the photo is very well exposed. A small formality: The name of the country is actually People's Republic... :-)

Hi Jorge,
Those pagodas look great on night lights. Great variation of colours: green, amber clear white and blue on the boat. Reflections on water are quite charming too.

Hello Jorge,

What an interesting concept, the sun and the moon.
The lighting is very effective so at this time of day, the distinction is easy to see.
You have captured them very well, detailing their characteristic shapes, their lights making them stand out sharply against the black sky!
I like how their reflections become a guiding. illuminated pathway.
This must have been a very enjoyable moment before your eventual farewell.

A great night shot with those two illuminated pagodas. The silver and golden colours are wonderful and stand out well from the dark sky. Nice reflections, too.

A superb nocturnal shot from Guilin. The blue light emanating from the boat at right contrasts well with the yellow orange tones of the pagoda, and the silvery pagoda adds symmetry. Nice reflections too. Tfs!

beautiful night capture.
I like the three colored reflection here: copper, white and blue.
The two pagodas are so beautiful and well illuminated. The make a repeated motif with the color and height different.
