Photographer's Note
Having always wanted to go to Egypt, but never having had the chance yet, the Egyptian area in Window of the World is one of my favourites.
I think that 'The Great Temple of Abu Simbel' is probably the best attraction, because of the size of it - even though I know it doesn't have the atmosphere and feel of the real thing.
My favourite shot is actually a close-up of the two Egyptian heads, but I posted this one to show the scale of the figures.
Tech: Resized for TE and sharpened. Then cropped more to reduce the file size under 204 KB.

Yes, this does a fine way of showing the scale, Andrew. Another interesting scene from "Window of the world". The good sharpness and colors of your shot really convey the accuracy of the copying job that has been done to replicate the original. The visitor not only adds scale, but also some alternate spots of color. Well captured.

ha, interesting to see such picture and reading it was taken in China ;) nice compo with the guy - if he wasn't there I wouldn't comment the picture, people are very important! ;) unfortunatelly he was wearing a white shirt - badly overexposed then ;) anyway, nice shot

What a lovely capture, it looks like the real thing, but it is in China right?
Great shot and I like the man in the pic, so ti gives us the total size of the pic
Well done

Réplique originale, je ne savais pas que ça existe.
La seule différence est que le manque de soleil ne protège pas le monument contre l'humidité.
L'image est parfaitement cadrée.
Original counterpart, I did not know that exists. The only difference is that the lack of sun does not protect the monument against humidity. The picture is tallied perfectly.

Wow - I must visit China - it will save me a visit to Egypt ;-)
Wonderful capture - I like the tourist to give us the dimensions of this fine copy - thanks for sharing Andrew.

Andrew
The texture and detail here is VERY good! Maybe a portrait format, showing the tourist fully, and more space above the heads of the figures, will improve the impact of this scene.

It's a very well done replica of the Abu Simbel monument. And you show a great picture of it, Andrew. The "colorful" tourist as reference for the size of it - although I believe it to be even bigger in reality. I like all the details in the foundations, which are rendered so well. I suppose they have a meaning in Egyptian and if you do a copy you have to be very true to the original. Nice job.

Again you have great sharpness that really brings out the details and wear here. I like the passing tourist not only for scale but the way he appears. Just passing, no hint of desert as it would be in reality and really exploring the monument. Here it looks like he's just passing and moving on through all the world's monuments represented in this park. Good job. I like this little tour of the world and time, too, with the dinosaurs.

The recent serie of photos you posted about China gives me the impression that China will become an "one-stop shop" where you can see the wonders of the world in just one location! :) The details are really sharp. The lonely tourist looks as puzzled as myself when I first saw this photo! :) Great framing.

Golly wolly! I've been to the real one, and I wasted my cash... this one looks much better! I like the fake aged/weather worn rock that you have photographed - or is this just dodgy mainland building materials? [FYI, the real one is larger than the SZ copy]

Wow! This is nice. Too bad you had the tourist in there. But I guess, whats a Touristy place without Tourists :-)
Nice shot. Very sharp and beautiful.

Nice composition with a excellent sharpness. The details of the statues are very well rendered. I like particularly the textures of wall and statues. The guy provides us a scale to the height of this copy of the egyptian temple.
