Photographer's Note

This is in the Summer Palace in Beijing. There are three bridges close to each other. Back in the days, the Emperor travelled along the river on boats pulled by people. The willow trees were planted either to give the people shade or hide them from view, I can't remember which. I liked this very tall bridge and the reflection on the water. The sky was white, it's kind of oppressive, but on the last day it was brilliant blue. I'll post pictures of that soon.
