Photographer's Note
Seen in a small restaurant in Sichuan, this cultural revolution poster.
The generals of the PLA (People's liberation army, which include the notorious Zhude in the middle, have long been replaced by a new generation. But don't be mistaken, the PLA still rules over China.
For those who are motivated by a workshop, how can you smooth the luminosity on the right side of the picture with PS

Hello Warren,
Good to bring this interesting witness of an era still much alive as you say...
I like the daring choice of the artist to bring soem of the horses in red...
Well seen and well executed.
regards,
Paul

Hi Warren,
interesting poster. Somehow it reminds me to the horsemen of the Apocalypse. The four red signs in simplified chinese are read 'kāi guó yuán shuài' (from right to the left) meaning 'state founding marshals'. They are called the ten great marshals, the only ones given that rank in 1955. I tried to make a workshop, than I saw that there already has been made one. But I will post it too.
Kind regards,
Roland
