Photographer's Note

Another night shot, another display of lights. This bridge stands in the same place where, it is believed, once Marco Polo crossed the river in the XIII century. There were dozens of big and small rivers at that time, one of them, described by the traveller, measured about 800 metres in width. Today, there are many bridges over few, mainly shallow, rivers left in the city core.
