Photographer's Note

Bayon is one of the "newer" temples around Siem Reap. It was built in the late 12'th or early 13th century in a baroque style - different than Angkor Wat's classic style. The thing you notice immediately about Bayon are the giant tranquil bas-relief Buddha faces on the towers of the temple. I'll post a closer look at a group of them tomorrow.
