Taken on the beach on my vacation. Saw this little girl walking with her father who is blind... holding her father's hand, going from one place to the other to beg for money. Imagin how if this little girl lives in a wealthy family... her beauty will bring up... and here she is like nothing... no one wants to see her and want to give money to her and her father... she keeps walking along the beach... with her dad... look at her eyes, face... isnt she is cute?

Excellent composition. I like very much the hair on the face. Lots of sadness on her face. Excellent choice of black and white tocarry the right atmosphere here. Very well done.

Hi Sothy,
Again such a deep b&w image, really beautiful. The eyes of those kids are very intriging, they keep on staring me. Plans are to visit Vietnam/Cambodia next year in Jan or Feb, i really hope to catch these kind of pictures myself.

It is too sad that people have to struggle through life such as this. I hear today that Paris Hilton is being paid 1 million dollars to give an interview after she gets out of jail. Talk about the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. Its a fuc#ed up world isn't Sothy.

Hi Sothy, I have been captured by a few of your superb portraits & will hope to visit your sight again soon, however this one is excellent, the eyes (which I believe are very important in portraits) are captivating, the piece of hair across the face is a very beautiful detail & makes the photo more individual, B/W is always a great choice for portraits & shows wonderful detail even better, this is a first class photo, kind regards Wilson

Technically the way the hat separates the background from her hair and eyes is perfect.
Those eyes, her face, and the sweep of her hair speak as loudly as your note.

Another great one showing and telling the story of Cambodia. A picture is worth a thousand words, and this one proves that saying. Such a blank stare, conveying the sense of hopelessness. You can see it in her eyes, sort of drooping and although big, not really showing the life behind them. Good composition and excellent note.

The one nitpick, and I really mean nitpick, is the upper right behind the girls hat, which sort of blends in with the hat. Although, an all black backround may look like you just PP everything out of it. Not really sure.
