Hi Mario,
Great picture! I like the black frame. The chinstrap pinguin seems to be watching over the surroundings.
This is a very graphic composition!

A wonderfully 'simple' image. I put simple in quotes because I can't imagine obtaining the picture was simple in that environment.
Great composition. The diagonal leading up to the penguin leaves no doubt about the main subject. The small size of the penguin in the frame works really well for me as it seems to add to the sense of space and isolation.
One question I often ask when looking at the pictures on the site is "Would I hang this on my wall?" The answer with this one is most certainly "Yes".

Hi Mario
Excellent balance in this minimalist landscape with its beautiful shades of grey and the penguin placed at a crucial point. Everything nicely emphasized with the black frame. Lovely!

Hej,
Ciekawa, minimalistyczna fotka. No i widac ze nie brakci poczucia humoru, bodla mnie zdjecie to jest nie tylko elegancko skomponowane ale i zabawne. Widac ze pingwin ma konkretna "rozkmine":)

that's really something, one of nthe most original shots I've seen lately here- thanks to it's simple composition and graphic effect, and almost b&w tonbation. great frame matching it.
best regards

Great decisive moment, can actually feel the little guy contemplating whether or not to slide down the snowy hill. The B&W frame realy works to support the dominant monotone colors in your composition, nice choice!

A decisive moment if ever! And I always like a fine minimalism. The bird is in a strong corner and the hill adapts so perfectly to the diagonal of the frame.

Hello Mario, I first thought you caught me going down the hill one morning, but looking at it, my coat is slightly more coloured... ;-)
Superb graphic shot! What marvel!
What is the temperature down South?
Bravo. This shot is really amazing. Love the humour, gentleness, minimalism and photographic qualities of it. The light is incredible too.

Hi Mario,
I would almost say this is taken from some video game - next the penguin will be sliding down the slope.
Great POV and well chosed placing of the penguin in the image

Hi Mario,
I spent some time in the Antarctic, more years ago than I care to remember! Your image brought back some lovely memories of my time there. This is a lovely composition, well balanced and good grey tones. Our little friend is well placed and there's no doubt where he'll end up! I would've liked a bit more information in your note about where it was taken. A fine capture Mario and one for my favourites. Have a great weekend.

Hello Mario.
Great photo. The colors are very simple and the composition perfect. Looks like the penguin is waiting for the right moment to jump on the slide. The frame is well chosen. The colors harmonize with the penguin and the ice.
