View of Tbilisi at sunset.
Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of roughly 1.5 million inhabitants. Founded in the 5th century by the monarch of Georgia's ancient precursor the Kingdom of Iberia, Tbilisi has since served, with intermissions, as the capital of various Georgian kingdoms and republics.

Tbilisi has important landmarks and sightseeing locations. The Parliament and the government buildings of Georgia, as well as the Supreme Court of Georgia, are in Tbilisi. The city has important cultural landmarks such as the Georgian National Museum, Tbilisi State Conservatoire, Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, Shota Rustaveli State Academic Theatre, Marjanishvili State Academic Theatre, the Sameba Cathedral, the Vorontsov's Palace (also known as the Children's Palace today), many state museums, the National Public Library of the Parliament of Georgia, the National Bank of Georgia, Tbilisi Circus, The Bridge of Peace and other important institutions.

Hello Piotr,
a fascinating view in the soft, morning (I assume) light. Tblisi looks like a city of old and new wonders, a place where daily life is likely to be vibrant and interesting. I like very much the way you preserved the special quality of the soft, warm light and ensured excellent clarity even beyond the furthest landmark. Colours and atmosphere are marvellous. Hi Piotr,

The wideness of the city is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the bridges and of the buildings. The sunset is giving nice colours to the sky. Have a nice day.

Hello Piotr,
Tbilisi offers some great views thanks to the many hills. This must be taken from somewhere near where I was staying and shows us some of the remarkable new buildings of the ancient city. The light just before sunset gives part of the view very fine warm tones. From this distance everything looks beautiful and we don't see the bad condition of many buildings.

nice the panoramic view of this section of Tbilisi at sunset.I like to see the new modern bridge with the two huge 'holes' that dominating the scene.The falling light on the buildings make the image even more attractive.

The large metallic silvery duo resemble fallen salt & pepper shakers! The covered bridge design is also unusual. Nice to see another Armenian style church in the distant sunlight too. Tfs!

Wspanialy widok na Tbilisi o zachodzie słońca, przypuszczam, że zdjęcie zrobione z kolejki. Ładnie oświetlony kosciół Św. Trójcy i pałac prezydencki. Lubie ten mostek zwany podpaską Always. A rury podobno ciagle nie sa skończone. Śliczne światlo i super ostrość.

The evening light illuminates beautifully some of the famous landmarks of Georgia's capital.
Actually, these landmarks are very nicely situated on a diagonal line over this picture from bottom left to top right.

Czesc Piotr,
wspanialy widok, znakomity punkt widzenia.
Pora dnia sprawila ze fotografia ma bardzo romantyczny nastroj.
Kilka budynkow wydaje sie byc nieco lepiej oswietlonych ostatnimi promieniami zachodzacego slonca. Zaczynam juz powoli poznawac to miasto po reportazu PaulVDV i emki.
Bardzo przyjemna kombinacja nowoczesnej i tradycyjnej architektury.

Lovely photo of the Georgian capital...
It seems like you somehow had the ability to manage the light as some of the buildings you mentioned in the note are highlighted by the rays ot the setting sun...

I had seen an image from this pov, but with less details. here we can see many old monuments and other modern ones created recently. nice details and interesting light. the town from this angle doesn't look so big.
