Photographer's Note

Late afternoon early winter sun and ancient stones mix so well when they meet. I liked this poetic mix of the two at a monument. The wooden door there too must be several hundred years old.

A new picture of you is always an event. I like the way you present things, with a great simplicity, that requires an enormous skill, first to see, then to capture the scene... Here again, I admire the minimalist composition, the beautiful light, turning to a golden blessing. The details of the door, of the wood and the stones, are sharp and the radiant athmosphere invites us once more, to travel in time.

I must say, You can really do some magic with silhouettes in photography.. The shades and light are some well mixed.. The golden effect is mesmerizing..
So hows the weather in Delhi?? I am shocked by the dramatic temperature changing in just 2 days here..

Forever fascinated by these timeless rays of golden lights on old stones, showing the weight of history - although I guess that if some nice woman in colourful saree were to pass by, the photo would not lose its charm and we would get another feel - or maybe not ?

Aadiil,
Nice composition using the light from the open door to lead the eye into the shot. The angle of the scene is great allowing us to see the open door but leaving what is beyond it a mystery. Your light management is fine here allowing the lighted area to be crisp and clean with overexposure.

i personally like this kind of image in ancient monument and always try to capture if have a chance.mostly not good enough :(
this image attract my eyes by compose of light&shadow and golden &black colors in good proportion.
good sharpness of decorative details in the golden area give a nice charming to the image.
