Just a few minutes after I took the almost perfect St. Paul reflection of St. Paul cathedral I uploaded yesterday, I took a totally different version in the same theme.
A reflection of St. Paul cathedral, but now in an almost abstract composition of the reflection of the dome of the cathedral in the wet decorative pavement.

Hello Rob,
Here¨'s another photo that belongs in an art gallery. The tiles create wonderful patterns and the church is nicely reflected, slightly distorted but still recognizable. The dull colours are really very attractive too, with such fine tones of grey, brown and yellow,

De koepel van St Paul's is nog net de herkennen in het ensemble van natgeregende stoeptegels. De middenbaan slingert zich mooi door de compositie heen.

Wet day after rain and light are perfect ingredients for a few shots like this and there is something to focus on - the reflective wet pavement with hints of building structures. Nice colour and clarity, a shot showing an example of opportunistic photography and awareness well grabbed. Congrats

So you took a whole series of photos of "wet St Paul" and this one is also very beautiful. If the previous one was surreal, with the photo cut in half, this one is abstract and impressionist. Well-spotted and used photo opportunity.

Hallo Rob,
Een weerspiegeling die zeker en vast minder opvalt. Het regent (we zien een dame met een paraplu), men is gehaast om door te lopen of om ergens te schuilen. In het beste geval kijkt men naar beneden om de plassen te mijden.
Dan is er ook nog de fotograaf die steeds op zoek is en dan plots een weerspiegeling op het natte wegdek vindt.
Heel mooi gedaan. Zeker met de draaiende lijnen van de straatstenen.
Kan het dat dit een omgekeerde foto is?

I love reflections in the wet pavements but here you have taken it to a whole new level!
I like so much the curve made with the pavement itself and we can indeed spot the characteristic silhouette of the St Pauls.
This is so impressive!
