Sunset, the local marina restaurant is on fire, a bush plane takes off from the St-Maurice River. This could have been a forest fire and the effect would have been the same. There was in excess of 140 simultaenous forest fires in the province of Quebec in July this year.

Coucher de soleil, le restaurant de la marina locale est en feu, un avion de brousse décole de la rivière St-Maurice. Cela aurait pu être un feu de brousse et donner le même effet. Il y avait plus de 140 feux de forêts actifs à ce moment au Québec.

Increased brightness & contrast, applied unsharp edge, straighten the horizon and cropped, that's all. The smoke cloud showed better that way. The world was orange.

Note: the black square that seems to come off the left wing is a large marker on the water used by sailboats for racing.
