Villa Pisani - TE-Meeting, a photo from Venice, Veneto

Photographer's Note

The fine villa of the noble Pisani family lies along the Riviera del Brenta. an ideal extension of Venetian Gran Canal on the land. It contains 114 rooms where doges, kings and emperors were welcomed.

"Every step is a new sight and a new beauty": thus described Villa Pisani garden an enthusiastic traveller in the nineteenth century. The garden is enchanting with its flamboyant sights, original architecture, its famous maze, its valuable citrus fruit collection and greenhouses with plants and flowers.

After doges, kings, emperors (Napoleon), tsars and leaders, also TE- Members invited by Paolo could admire this wonderful place.

Hi Malgorzata,
one more shot from the Villa Pisani,bur from the different POV and perspective.I like the dynamism of the perspective as lead-in the eye on the far end of the image. Excellent the light management that enhancing perfect the colours.

Hello Malgorzata, Lucky you, meeting many TE members in such beautiful surroundings. This is a gorgeous building and I am sure per your notes, the interior is every bit as magnificent. You have done well to capture as much of this building that you have done, with minimum distortion. Had I taken this shot, I would have used a wide angle lens and got greedy so the building would be skewed all over. Ha Ha. Regards, Roger
