Photographer's Note
This is the first picture I post after I just came back from Iran.
It was taken in Shiraz, a city in the south of the country, near Persepolis. The lady is walking in the center of the city, along the walls of the
Citadel of Karim Khan, built around year 1750.
I will post more pictures next days. I really enjoyed Iran, and most of all I enjoyed iranian people, who are really lovely, curious, and very nice.
A very different country from what I am used to, but a very interesting experience.

Ciao Stefano

Ciao Stefano,
Nice image, the black tones are strong and attract the eye to this contrasting ghost against the clear wall, visually effective.
Have a nice day JY

ciao Stefano,
ciao

Hello Stefano,
I will be looking forward to your next photos from Iran. I haven't been there for 36 years (!) and am eager to see the differences. You managed here a nice combination of "modern" life and ancient art. Few colours and simple but interesting lines.

Hello Stefano,
Current policies tend to make us forget what a rich culture past and present Iran have...
A well taken view of this fine architecture. The lady provides scale but her clothing is maybe also a reminder of present politics...

ah, come ti invidio, stefano!

Stafano,
Beautiful shot, I like it, the essence of Iran is for sure well capture here and very nice representation of the country, since it's not a very well travelled place. Good to see some iamges from there. I like the wonderful texture of the architecture and the woman covered in black from head to toes really is a strong visual anchor. Thanks.

Hi Stefano,
stone-colored walls and a nice subject make something special about this picture: enigmatic and beautiful.

Hi, Stefano. a good perspective with the wall on the left leading towards the round part in the far end. The line dividing the two types of pavement leads the eye towards the lady, who adds contrast in the image and gives the scale of those gigantic walls.
Have a ice evening,
Philippe
