Sandakphu has always been known as the trekkers' paradise and located at north west of Darjeeling town at an altitude of about 12,000ft.Many tourists who find the 3 days trek too strenuous to bear,take a 4-wheel drive Land Rover from Manebhanjan(the road head for the trek) and go all the way up to Sandakphu along 32 kms of steep gravel road.The motor road is full of loose stones and boulders, and takes about 5 hours to reach.

Hello Dwaipayan,

With a lot snow is a 4-wheel drive Land Rover absolutely necessary.
In Belgium get we higher temperatures certainly in the month May
Sharpness and clarity are very well.
Nice perspective too.

Hmm, amazing snow-covered scene, it looks like some North European not Indian town ;) I like a design of this old classic car, but I think it could better in black&white version, 'cause I see the yellow lamps only.

so this is a famous popular trek in India? I'll hqve to look into it, sounds interesting.

This land rover looks kind of funny, almost as if it has some sort of human emotion or appearance.

The snow on the windshield and wipers are cool.
