Photographer's Note

My second post of the Wat Rong Khun - The White Temple, in Chiang Rai.
Started in 1996, this temple is the dream of its creator - the controversial Thai visual artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, who believes his work will give him immortal life.
As his work is becoming more and more accepted, it's also true that even unfinished, this temple is becoming one of the biggest attractions in the area.
Amazing and different from everything I've seen so far!

A silver temple, never see something like this, but it seems is still unfinished?
Like the silver ( for once ) dragons against the sky in a symmetrical capture

I know this temple extremely well. The image is clear and sharp but the white balance is too cool to the blue side. This is one of the most difficult temples to photograph due to its total white nature and it is my opinion that given the lighting conditions I see in the image you over compensated with the color balance. Try adjusting that portion of the image and you will have presented its true color nature which is difficult to capture. Even the images I have posted of this temple were difficult to bring out the coloration correctly.

I am so happy to have learned of this place, its unique to say the least. The level of intricate detail on the building is amazing, and its a place I would really love to see myself. In the meantime though, a pleasure to see your captures of it.

desta vez o contraste não foi tão forte, mas a imagem é ainda belíssima mostrando os detalhes desta fachada com um barroquismo oriental. bem feito.
