" A look into their eyes ", a photo from Noord-Brabant, South

Photographer's Note

This photo was taken at Chasséveld , actually a parking lot.
Occasionally, this parking lot will make way for Pop Festival such as Dancetour and Breda Live.
The tall tower ( left ) is the 'Grote Kerk' of Breda.

The photo I'm showing , is the traveling exhibition featuring 30 portraits throughout Netherlands.
It's an initiative by CoMensha, a campaign 'Open Your Eyes' which is to raise awareness
of Human Trafficking , the 'Modern-Day Slavery' in this world.

As you can see, these people's portraits ... they are sharing their moving stories
and harrowing experiences.

Hopefully, their stories will enable us to see and acknowledge the danger of Human Trafficking.

Hello Loong,
A good photo of this long row of photos at the outdoor exhibition. All those piercing eyes in between the colourful scarves are impressive. Good composition as well with the cycle lane at left leading towards the church tower.

Hello Loong,
These photos represent a serious problem that needs to be highlighted, over and over. The portraits are also bright and photogenic, which serves the campaign well. You used an obvious photo opportunity well, and all three photos benefit from the diagonal accents and the fine light. In the main photo the church tower tells us about the location.

Hi Loong,the traveling exhibition is really original, unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to know the stories of these women but I guess what it could be. Great figurative space given to the eyes and gazes, the eyes are the mirror of the soul and here you can feel many wounds. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
