Photographer's Note

The sun sank behind the sand dunes and the temperature began to drop when the most beautiful atmosphere took over. The fire was lit with people sitting around it keeping them all nicely warm together and out of the silence I could hear noises of low rumbling growls emitted intermittently by the camels.

The effect and a sense of the desert really add to the deeply profound and overwhelming effect the scene has on the human soul.

It made me feel really energized.....

J'aime beaucoup la mise en scène de cette composition. Les têtes de chameaux donnent un beau cadre et situent bien l'action. Un beau feu et un beau coucher de soleil. De très belles couleurs.

My imagination works O/T, Abmdsudi.
On my first glance here, I thought two dragons spitting fire, than realize two camel looking at each ther, but "firey" sky above made this illussion.
Those guys sitting around the fire and chatting, gave a resting time for the camels - is a beautiful moment you managed to collect.

Hello Abmdsudi,
A fantastic composition with an almsot perfect symmetry. The people by the fire form a very fine little group, but the camels looking into the photo from each side are the real stars of this photo. They are magnificent and their appearance is a bit surprising and rather amusing. The evening colours create a marvellously cosy atmosphere.

spectacular scene. I like very much the colors of the sky. Very impressive. The symmetric framing with the heads of the camels is quite original and even funny. The highlight are the silhouettes of people sitting next to the fire. I really admire the exposition here.

Wow! Breathtaking capture worthy of the National Geographic! So powerful yet so simply beautiful and peaceful scene after a long day. Love the colors of those clouds and the subdued lighting. I guess I'm naïve I didn't know Indians use camels. Very well done, tfs.

I have to say, this one is pretty funny looking with the two camels on each side peeking into the scene.

but the lighting and colors in the bg really set the tone and is the main focal point I think.

its all about the atmosphere, really like this one

Ahhh yes this is a salve on the soul, I can only imagine what it was like in person. Such a special moment captured. I love the way the two camels face each other and the clouds between them are like dragon smoke, words un-understood by humans. Superb low pov, as someone sitting on the ground with the men, beautiful colours and a superb rendering of the roaring, cleansing fire. Excellent work, a real beauty.

I think I have seen a photo from that magic evening in the desert in your gallery before, it's wonderful to have another opportunity to enjoy it again. Three people and two camels spending their evening together, the arrangement with the people in the middle and the camela watching over them is marvellous. The colors of the sky here are sublime and the feeling evoked by the fire with the men gathered round is really excellent. At first I thought the camels were arms reaching into the frame. The clouds seem to be coming from the camels nose too. Mysterious and magical moment to capture,

I love the composition of your photo, with these two camels that seem to watch over these three men. Beautiful light distribution with two main sources: fire and thinning in the clouds. An intimate atmosphere emanates from the scene, I feel like I am in the desert, hearing the crackling of the flames, the animated conversations and the rattle of camels.
