Photographer's Note
Before starting a great safari adventure in Tanzania, a small break was given in Zanzibar- an island in the Indian Ocean just off the coast of Tanzania, Africa- where you could find beautiful broad white-sand beaches and endless groves of coconut palms. The photo was taken while walking in the east coast during a low tide. During our stay we witness twice daily tides called low and high. Depending on which side of the island you are in the tides could be extreme, with the water retreating for kilometers to reveal a lagoon floor of sand, coral and seaweed. Which creates a great opportunity for taking photos. These two fishermen were taking the advantage of low tide to catch some octopus and squids.
