What a lovely moment with a whale in forgeound.
Excellent picture of the soft background with the rocks.
Sharpness is beautiful.

You have to click the thumbnail to spot the whale and discover the absolute beauty of this shot. Terrific picture, Korkut! I hope many more people click, discover and admire.

Hello Korkut

Not many, I suspect, would have posted a monochrome treatment of this shot, nor even seen its b/w potential. But your dramatic use of tone, particularly in the sky and mountains, has created a photograph with real presence. The whale stands out beautifully, and has been caught perfectly in the act of breaching. I wonder if you've seen Way Lim's images of breaching whales?
