Photographer's Note

The biggest mobile object man ever build is a ship. This is one of them: M/V “Opal Bounty” in the middle of Atlantic Ocean. The vessel is almost 9,000 tons DWT and 120 m long. As she is going under ballast her draught is only 6 metres. With the approaching storm the vessel begins rocking and rolling. Huge waves start to throw her up and down. The big bow of the vessel, shaped as a pear, goes up above the water. And this is the moment I caught with my camera. The bow just went up and the water is still pouring down from it. My next picture in this series will be when the bow hits the water on its way down.
