S. Tomé e Príncipe was in other times a colony of Portuguese emporium. These islands are located 300 km far from East African Coast. At the extreme south point of S. Tomé island one can find this small island (ilhéu in portuguese) names “das Rolas” wihch is crossed by the equator line with, of course, 12 sunny months.
The biggest Island is S. Tomé and the second one is Príncipe famous in other times by the greatest quality of its cocoa.
These islands were desert until 1470 when Portuguese navigators João de Santarém e Pedro Escobar discovered them
A must see place with White singing sands and turquoise warm waters...

Olà Rui ,
An amzing beach postcard ! Of course , all the elements are there : golden sand , blue sea , palm trees , tropical sky . But I like especially , here , the superb contrast of light . And the steps on the beach , too .

Que paraíso deserto queria assim umas ferias :) numa praia destas palmeiras e agua quente :), bonita a areia tem um tom bem dourado , bom ponto de visão , boas cores e luz , parabéns!!

que bela praia e bom ponto de vista para esta foto!
Gostei das cores e do bonito céu; bom uso da grande angular e parece realmente um lugar próprio para curtir e refletir um pouco..

Dobro jutro.
Odlican motiv i trenutak ...
Lep pogledn na peskovitu plazu i nemirno more, dramatican trenutak na nebu ne obecava, ide nevreme.
Tragovi stoplala na pesku daju car snimku, lepe boje i mnogo lepa fotografija, cestitam vam na radu.
Sve najbolje.

Olhe para a belíssima praia e do mar agitado, momento dramático no céu não promete, vai mal.

Ola Rui,
Very nice framing with a but of shadow in the foreground, the trail of footprints along the curve of the beach leading us to the curve of palms. The clouds contiue the them of curves to the sky. Very nice color and detail as well. The palms, clouds and water make the scene seem like it could be Maui but I expect it is much warmer.

Hello Rui,

A beautiful colour palette, as the sky and water compliments the golden beach so nicely!
Elegant simplicity, with the silhouetted palms and strong diagonal, the tracks in the sand add life...
