Photographer's Note

Located 70 km north of Windhoek, Okahandja is known as the Garden Town of Namibia.

It is a historical place for Herero and Nama tribal people who came to establish themselves there in 1800. Today, it is the administrative centre of the Herero-speaking people, with a number of its former leaders buried there.
