The Hassan II Mosque (arabic: ‏مسجد الحسن الثاني‎ ) in Casablanca is one of the largest in the world.

It's minaret is 210 metres tall. That means it is so far the tallest minaret in the world and the tallest religious structure in the world das derzeit. The mosque was scheduled to be ready for King Hassan II's 60th birthday in 1989. The mosque was completed and inaugurated in 1993.
