Le tonalità dell'acqua sono davvero incredibili, già dalla foto, immagino dal vivo, anzi, non riesco neanche ad immaginare.
Bellissimo luogo e bellissima foto.

Hello Luciano - Mauritius is a favourite holiday destination for people from my part of the world and I know that it has plenty of attractions for a beach lover like yourself. Sailing around the island must be a lovely way to spend the day and although your shot is a simple composition, it shows off the lushness of the island very well. The colour of water is really marvelous, even when the sky is not blue. It looks very inviting. Have you snorkelled there? Fantastic place for beach holidays.

¨Pour parfaire la composition , ça aurait été mieux si la vedette rouge avait été placée un peu plus vers le premier plan ... mais on ne choisit pas toujours .
La vue n'en reste pas moins magnifique , avec les superbes couleurs de la mer , le beau ciel nuageux , et les montagnes à l'horizon .

there is something about turquoise seas that just captures the idyllic feel of a foreign holiday. This one is all the more amazing as the sky is relatively overcast and yet the shades and tones are still invitingly beautiful. Looks amazing!

Although I find it slightly provocative to show these pictures from the tropics in February ;-), I have to admit that the views are very nice. The colour of the sea is very attractive and the clouds are very nice too. I can only guess that the distant beach is a good place to spend some time.

A typical tropical sky over an island where it will most probably have been very hot.
Indeed, the colour of the sea water makes us dreaming of such paradisiacal destinations.
What I like the most is that from on the sea you can see the high mountains of which the tops are touching the clouds. I don't know the altitude of these mountains but the difference in height with the coast will be big. Most likely also the difference in temperature.

bellissima immagine di quest' isola esotica dal catamarano. Hai catturato magnifici colori, il movimento dell' acqua, il paesaggio invitante, il cielo drammatico, l' intensita' della luce, la trasparenza del mare, il senso di anticipo che sicuramente ogni passeggero provavava davanti a questo spettacolo. La tua composizione e' semplice ma ha grande profondita' ed e' davvero gratificante. Complimenti e grazie!

This makes me just want to dive into my monitor, that water looks incredibly inviting...especially as I'm surrounded by nothing but cactus and desert! :) The simplicity of this scene speaks volumes to the beauty and climate we see. The hint of blue color in the sky adds to the tropical vibe. A most desirable location indeed, I envy your travels! Love that little splash of yellow from the boat, good idea to include it in the composition. An instance where an abundance of negative space in the foreground works splendidly. Just gorgeous! Looks as good as the Amalfi Coast or the Greek Islands in the Aegean! Good sharpness and the bg horizon of the island makes a good focal point. Excellent colour, composition and saturation. Have a nice weekend!

Hai sopravissuto la luce difficile e hai raggiunto una foto strepitosa. Il mare ricordami veramente del mare della Barriere Corallina del mio paese. Ottimo il taglio nelle regole dei terzi, la saturazione é naturale e ben giudicato. Una foto stupenda di un luogo da favola. Complimentoni.

Une merveilleuse photo qui donne envie d'aller faire un petit tour sur cette île. La couleur de l'eau est exquise, un régal pour les yeux. Belle profondeur qui permet aux montagnes de l'arrière plan de bien se détacher sur le fond de ciel nuageux, et donne encore plus d'éclat à l'image. Cerise sur le gâteau, le petit bateau jaune qui traverse ce paysage serein à vive allure.

hmmm...winter...or a holiday on a sweet tropical Island with water like this...which do i prefer! haha
I really like seeing the small but obvious waves in the water, and of course the colors attract us immediately.

Ciao Luciano, another marvellous photo from Mauritius. The high mountains in BG are the very good focal point of this photo. There is a great use of depth of field to hold the viewer in the foreground blue-green sea water, the nice cloudy sky above as well as mountains in BG, and the excellent lighting conditions have allowed for very good color saturation. The overall impact is very strong.

This is a beautiful landscape and the distnace on the water gives deepness. I like the different tones of colors in the water. The mountain is a great focal point and the light is very good even with the cloud cover.
