This is a captivating photograph!
The portrait of this demure lady is beautifully composed, the lines on her protective blanket seeming to lead strongly to her eyes. AND her eyes are so strong, so alive! She may be positioned behind the blanket but she appears to be seeing everything.

Hello Steve,
She may have been shy, but by hiding most of her face she is bound to catch the attention she wanted to avoid. At least I am fascinated by her eyes because they could express almost any kind of feeling. Maybe she is smiling, as the title says, but she could also be sad or bewildered, and that's partly what makes the photo so interesting. The striped blanket, the neutral background and the fine light are also obvious assets. Plus that it's a technically fine photo.

and what an amazing opportunity for you. Here I can sense the hidden cheers of a charmer though I couldn't see it, but when you smile it kind of touches your eyes and you can tell she's smiling. What a great encounter of a delightful woman and the importance of your mission being emphasised by the focus on the sparkling eyes. Totally positive beautiful coloured capture that tells a story. Four thumbs up!!
