Photographer's Note

She is the daughter of a rich Muslem family.How I do know it,by looking at the walls of course:-)
As the local guide told me,just the people who had visited Ka'ba are allowed to have their walls painted out with figures and those figures should have been about their pilgrimage story.How they have earned the money necessary for going there,in which ways their transportations were done,where&how they prayed at hajj etc.
This was very strange for me,so I had this pic;and I believe it is just TE style.
I couldn't check it out if the guide were telling the truth but really just some of the houses were like that,and just some holly figures were painted likewise ,not anything else.
I noticed that some had gone there by plane,some by train or bus.That meant some were richer than the others:-)
I was preparing this for an exhibition,and I wanted to repost it with a higher scanning quality.

Hi Nejat, really beautiful background that stands out even as a thumbnail. The posed girl adds a nice human element to this scene. Just wish she was a bit sharper.

Nejat, means releave release relax..Yes, she is the daughter of a rich family and I count the richness in wisdom, kindness, knowledge and intelligence but many counts this by wealth, money or property so here it looks that they are rich not in wealth but rich in wisdom and art. Well done..

Great composition. I like the variety in colors and capture of detail in the painted house. The little girl is a great subject--her face is glowing aand she is all smile. Very nice :)

Interesting subject with rich colors. I think it would have been more interesting if the girl was a bit more off the center (towards the right) and a bit more prominent.
