Photographer's Note

Standing high above the Enned́ plain, in the Sahara desert near the border with Sudan, this cliff hosts ancient ruins of a long-lost culture. Archeologist claim that these dvellings are more than 8000 years old, when the climate allowed to sustain life. If you squint, you will notice Angela in the middle of the large aperture: this gives you an idea of the dimensions of the place. We were muted by the majesty and antiquity of the place. It should remind us that climate changes come and go, and mankind has to adapt or perish.
