It looks like something from a fantasy story, Patrick. So many layers, so much haze...this makes it seem an impossible distance from familiar reality. Very nice work with the B/W tones. Regards, Ken.

Hi Chatelier,
You boldly chose B/W for this kind of a nature shot and the result is terrific. The range of mountains covered with mist is nicely put into the frame with the special grainy effect.

Bonjour Patrick,
Belle impression d'immensité avec cette succession de montagnes qui semble infinie. La netteté des pics rocheux au premier plan et le flou sur ceux du fond crée une belle profondeur de champ. J'aime beaucoup l'atmosphère créée par le choix du noir et blanc et par le grain de la photo. Très belle réussite !

Hello Chatelier,
A lonely landscape, void of life to the common eye. It appears that this area may have been the birthplace for the region as the formations are ancient and the hillsides appear to have been pushed up by volcanoes in the past. A beautiful image that shows all to all that chance to peer deeply within the barren landscape's borders.

superbe ce paysage désertique avec ces montagnes à perte de vue. Quelle belle sensation ce doit être que d'admirer cette immensité.
Le noir et blanc lui rend parfaitement grâce.
